Crosswater EcoResort Phase 2

The well known Crosswater Ecolodge + SPA phase 1 designed by EDSA,USA has been in operation since 2006 and has won several design and hospitality award. The situation challenge is to live up to the reputation of Phase 1,create a Shangri-la environment,  provide a complementary product mix to blend into a hilly lushed green bamboo forest site with “ a sense of place “ and “ details in context “ as these built forms has mushroom out from the Site.
To minimized site disturbance and maximized environmental integration the product mix of units design were dictated by the site parameters with stream side Villa, lake side villa, bamboo slope Villa, bamboo slope terraces and a Club house. The smallness of scale and size of this cut off escape ecolodge requires the sensitivity of Forms, Landscape, Inside/Outside, Space and Light for the Rhythm of Sense of Place to achieve comfort, serenity and timelessness.
